Mezzanine Floors

Most warehouses run out of floor before they run out of roof. A mezzanine floor turns that unused height into working space: over the area it covers, you get a second floor for storage, picking, packing or offices — without extending the building. Compared with an extension or a full additional storey, it's a fraction of the cost and the disruption, and it goes in while you keep trading underneath.

Every floor is designed around your building: the footprint you want covered, the loads it has to carry, and how you'll get stock up and down. Our floors are manufactured in Ireland, and the lead time from placing the order to the installation being complete is four to five weeks.

Getting stock on and off the floor

A mezzanine is only useful if loading it is safe and fast. Our floors are fitted with a safety loading gate, so a forklift can land full pallets on the deck without anyone working near an open edge — the gate closes off the drop while the pallet is being taken in. A staircase gives everyday access for staff and picking.

Room to grow later

The floor doesn't have to be fully fitted out on day one. Shelving can be added on top at any stage — many customers start with open deck space and rack it out as stock builds. Our long span shelving is the usual choice for hand-loaded storage on a mezzanine, and we can plan the bay layout with the floor so the structure carries it from the start.
