Cantilever racking carries long stock on arms instead of shelves, so there's no upright in front of the load. Timber lengths, plastic pipe and sheet metal slide straight on and off — by hand at low levels, by forklift higher up. It's the standard system for builders' providers, joinery workshops and any yard handling long, bulky material.
What we stock
Our stocked bays are 3000mm high with columns at 1000mm centres. Arms come in two lengths, 1000mm and 1200mm, both rated 250kg per arm. The upright columns are 300mm × 80mm section, rated 1000kg per column excluding the base.
Bases run up to 1200mm deep. Allow an extra 400mm from the wall for counterbalance — a 1200mm base needs 1600mm of floor depth in total. The finish is pre-galvanised silver with orange arms.
